Experience the ultimate adventure with Momo Excursions on a thrilling 3-day trek through the majestic Atlas Mountains. Here’s the itinerary:

Day 1:

Marrakech - Imlil 1740m - Tizi Mzik Pass 2479m - Red Valley - Tamsoult Refuge 2550m

Your journey begins after a delightful breakfast in Marrakech.

Our team will pick you up and drive you towards the high Atlas Mountains, passing through Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya, and Asni, where you’ll be treated to stunning views of picturesque villages along the valley.

Upon reaching Imlil, located 65km from Marrakech, you’ll meet your experienced guide and multeer, and the trekking adventure commences.

Ascend the impressive Tizi Mzik Pass at 2479m, which offers a spectacular view of the Imlil valley and the majestic Toubkal Summit.

Continue on to Tamsoult Refuge, where you can witness the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains, cascading 100m amidst a breathtaking juniper forest. Overnight stay at the Refuge, a day filled with 5 hours of exhilarating walking.
Day 2:

Tamsoult Refuge 2550m - Aguelzim Pass (3650m) - Toubkal Refuge 3207m

Today promises to be an exhilarating and challenging day as we ascend to higher altitudes.

The demanding ascent takes us to the Aguelzim Pass, situated at an impressive 3450m above sea level. The climb is gradual and rewards you with stunning vistas.

Gaze upon the majestic Toubkal Summit before descending to the Toubkal Base Camp at 3200m. Total walking time for the day is approximately 6 hours and 30 minutes.
Day 3:

Toubkal Refuge 3207m - Toubkal Summit 4167m - Imlil 1740m - Marrakech

An early start is in order as we embark on the exhilarating climb up Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, soaring to 4167m.

Weather permitting, you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring views of the Atlas Range and the Sahara Desert from the summit. Afterward, we make our way back down, passing the Refuge and following a well-trodden path back to Imlil.

This is a fulfilling but challenging day with approximately 8-9 hours of trekking. The descent involves 900m of elevation gain followed by an almost 2,500m descent back to Imlil.

You’ll typically be dropped off in Marrakech around 5.00 pm.
